Basic principles of tES
A one day workshop that is an excellent starting point for those who are new to transcranial electrical stimulation (tES) research.
The workshop covers:
• The physiology of transcranial electrical stimulation (tES) and the differences between transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS), transcranial alternating current stimulation (tACS) and transcranial random noise stimulation (tRNS)
• How to prepare a tES study, including electrode preparation, setting stimulation
parameters and blinding options
• Safety principles and contraindications in tES studies
• Discussion sessions on how to integrate tES into your research programme
Looking for a more advanced course? We also offer a two day advanced applications of tES workshop which will run on 4-5 Dec 2018.
