A one day workshop that is an excellent starting point for those who are new to transcranial electrical stimulation (tES) research.
The workshop covers:
- The physiology of transcranial electrical stimulation (tES) and the differences between transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS), transcranial alternating current stimulation (tACS) and transcranial random noise stimulation (tRNS)
- How to prepare a tES study, including electrode preparation, setting stimulation parameters and blinding options
- Safety principles and contraindications in tES studies
- Discussion sessions on how to integrate tES into your research programme
Please note, the date of the Basic Principles of tES workshop is to be confirmed. To register your interest in attending our next Basic Principles of tES workshop, please fill out the form below.
